PARE Spring School 2016 in Thailand

เมื่อวันที่ 7 มีนาคม 2559 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ตฤณ แสงสุวรรณ รักษาการแทนรองอธิการบดีวิทยาเขตกำแพงแสน มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ เป็นประธานเปิดโครงการ PARE Spring School 2016 ณ ห้องเธียเตอร์ อาคารศูนย์มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ วิทยาเขตกำแพงแสน
โครงการนี้เริ่มจัดขึ้นจากการที่ Hokkaido University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ได้สร้างความร่วมมือกับสถาบันการศึกษา ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์, มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์, จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย, University Gadjah Mada, Institut Teknologi Bandung และ Bogor Agricultural University ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย และได้จัดโครงการโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้นิสิต นักศึกษาระหว่างสถาบันได้เรียนรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ภายใต้แนวคิดด้าน Populations-Activities-Resources-Environment Chain (PARE)
สำหรับโครงการ PARE Spring School 2016 นี้ จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 7-22 มีนาคม 2559 ภายใต้หัวข้อ Sustainable use and management of land, water, food and energy โดย คณะเกษตร กำแพงแสน มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ รับหน้าที่เป็นผู้ประสานงานหลักในการดำเนินโครงการ มีผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการทั้งสิ้น 34 คน จากประเทศไทย ญี่ปุ่น จีน มาเลเซีย และอินโดนีเซีย กิจกรรมประกอบไปด้วยการบรรยายให้ความรู้โดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิสาขาต่างๆ อีกทั้งยังมีกิจกรรมนอกสถานที่ ให้ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการได้ร่วมกันศึกษาและเก็บข้อมูลในพื้นที่แถบลุ่มน้ำแม่กลองและลุ่มน้ำเจ้าพระยา

On March 7, 2016, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Trin Saengsuwan, Acting Vice President for Kamphaeng Saen Campus, Kasetsart University presided over the open ceremony of PARE Spring School 2016 at Theater room, KU KPS.
The program were formed by the collaboration between Hokkaido University in Japan, Kasetsart University, Thammasart University, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, University Gadjah Mada, Institut Teknologi Bandung and Bogor Agriculture University in Indonesia and started the joint education program in October, 2013.
The objective of this program is to offer graduated students an opportunity to work together with other students majoring in different fields with diverse nation and cultural background to find out solutions on various issues related to sustainable usage of resources and management in Populations-Activities-Resources-Environment Chain
PARE Spring School 2016 program was held on March 7-22, 2016 under the theme of Sustainable use and management of land, water, food and energy. In this year, Kasetsart University hosted this program with six partner universities, including Thammasart University, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, University Gadjah Mada, Institut Teknologi Bandung and Bogor Agricultural University in Indonesia. There are 34 participants from Thailand, Japan, China, Malaysia and Indonesia. During this program, many activities have been arranged to educate and entertain all participants. Two lecturers from Hokkaido University, one from Bogor Agricultural University, two from Thammasart Universty, one from Chulalongkorn University and five from Kasetsart University were invited to provide the understanding and perceptions on the related contents, and also participated in field work activities in the areas of Mae Klong and Chao Praya river basins.
